It was time for Birthday Cake and Ice Cream!! Mom lit the candle's and placed my Birthday Cake on my lap for picture's! Mom was trying really hard to make me have the perfect smile so that she could blog my birthday! She reached over and tried to tickled me and my cake flew to the ground and landed upside down! I AM SO MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Cake Catastrophe!

Mom gave me a taste of the cake that fell on the floor since I was so mad!

Dad whipped me up a new cake! We decided to sit it on the table instead of my lap! I was so glad that it made it to my plate and in my mouth! It was delicious!!

"It's the END of the World ..."

Why is it that when men (particularly my husband) are not feeling well it is the END of the world? Heath has had a cold and some other issues for a few days and last night after trying a few different options, we ended up in the emergency room for an "undisclosed" reason! (Heath forbid me to tell the world his problems!) What a JOKE, the most common and harmless issues strike and Heath thinks he is "going to die." (those were his words to describe his pain) After a three hour visit to the ER, Heath learned that all IS fine and that his problems would quickly be relieved. After harassing him the whole way home from the hospital, I did let him know that I was glad that nothing serious was wrong! I could hope that the next time I am not feeling well, he will decide to take on some of my motherly duties and feel a bit of sympathy for me!

A Pirate's Life For Me

For Tydon's Upcoming 5th Birthday (this Sunday) he decided to have a Pirate Party! He invited a lot of friends over with a treasure map inviation. We spent the day turning our house into Captian Tydon's Ship with Skull and Crossbone Flags, Palm Tree's, Balloons, Treasure's, and as you can see, Jack Sparrow joined us. When his guests arrived we followed the "CODE" of Captain Tydon by Eating, Drinking, Treasure Hunting, and Dressing like Pirate's! He had such a great time and told us that his party was an "awesome party!"Tydon with a few of his "Matey's"

Tydon had a pirate Cake!!

Tydon was exausted after his Pirate Party!

8 months old ....

Happy 8 month Birthday, Kamdon!! I can hardly believe that Kamdon is already 8 months old. Time just goes by way to fast. It won't be long and he will be crawling, as each day he gets braver and braver. He will be so thrilled when he is mobile since he watches every move his brother and sister makes and wants to be keeping up with them. Kamdon is such a wonderful and happy baby! These past few weeks he has been getting all 4 top teeth all at once, and still amazes me with smiles and giggles, although he does want to be held a lot more! (But, I don't mind, most of the time!)

Enriched ...

Wow, I am truly glad that yesterday has come and gone!! As many of you know, I spend much of my life doing my Relief Society calling as 2nd counselor, which makes me in charge of our monthly (yes, we do monthly) Enrichments. Yesterday, we celebrated the Relief Soceity Birthday with a Pajama Party (it turned out awesome). We went to set up the church yesterday afternoon, and spent a good couple hours turning the Relief Society Room into the perfect party with balloons, streamers, tables, games, etc. onlt to lead us into problems. (In order to understand the story, you must know that our church building was flooded a couple of months ago and they are having to redo the walls and the gym floor was destroyed.) As part of our P.J. party we were going to quilt 2 of our wards 5 quilts for the year. As we went to set up the quilts we all realized that the quilting frames were stored in a closet in the gym. After searching for 30 minutes in the building it was apparent that they were NOT there and funny enough no one really knew where they could be. ( I kept telling everyone I was sure they were locked in the storage pod outside our building.) So we decided to wait and see how that played out. As I was leaving (Tydon, Kamdon, and I were the last to leave) there was a worker polishing the wood floor in the gym. I wondered what he was up to and decided to chat with him. He proceeded to tell me that they would be putting on the final coat of lacaur, and that the whole building would be ingulfed in fumes!! Nice Uhhh, How on earth were we supposed to have a party! So I drove to my Enrichment Leaders home and we had to come up with a new plan. Luckily, the Paramount Subdivision Clubhouse just happened to be available for the evening. So we had to take everything down that we had just spent all afternoon preparing, and start all over in the clubhouse. Needless to say that by 4:30 p.m. and a lot of confussion we were mostly prepared for the party that was to begin in 2 hours. By 10 o'clock last night we were all so exaushed!!(Heath got recruited to be the nursery & clean up last night as well, which meant my kids had to be hauled around for a few more hours.) Oh, and we finally found the quilt frames 30 minutes before the party (which was probably a blessing cause we had to move locations anyways). They were right where I had told everyone I was certain they were!!
WHAT AN "ENRICHING" DAY!

Thanks to Grandma ...

We look like a million bucks!

A Blonde Moment

I decided to run to Target, one of my favorite shopping stops, and pick up a few things for my Enrichment night on Thursday and so that Tydon could look at the toys for his upcoming birthday! We went up and down the isles and filled our cart with a lot of unnecessary things. After about an hour, and after I was sick of Tydon begging me to leave so he could open his push up popsicles, (that we had in our cart since the beginning of our adventure -- I am sure they were soggy), we headed up to the front of the store and unloaded our cart onto the little black belt. The checker rang up more than half of our items when I opened my diaper bag to realize I didn't have any money!! I had left my wallet at home where I had been paying bills the day before! I felt like a dumb blonde as I told the man I didn't have any money and he would have to return all the products (including the soggy push up's)that I had just spent the last hour shopping for! Tydon is still mad that he didn't get his push up's!

A Surprise for Dad

The kids were so excited and thrilled at the surprise they had created for their daddy! And I was so impressed that Heath was able to just let the kids climb all over his car as he sat inside knowing what they were doing for him! What a great Dad!!

Taylee and Tydon decided it would Great Fun to surprise Heath by washing his car. They were so excited that they had done it all on their own (With just a little coaching from Grandma Sandy on how to get the soap off the car since the hose is still hanging in the garage for the winter). They scrubbed and rinsed all by themselves and it was pretty apparent that most of the cleaning was done by their pant legs as they climbed off and on the top of the car. They were so proud of themselves and were both thrilled with Heath's excitement (even though he knew exactly what was going on.)

Spring Fever

The weather has been so nice in Meridian this week! Heath has had his motorcycle out everyday. Today he took the kids for ride and picked up Taylee from school on his motorcycle. They love spending time with dad!!

A Party Favorite ...

This recipe was one that I have used for Enrichment and also for Ashley's Baby Shower. It is a Huge Party Hit!!
Peanut Butter Balls
1/2 cup butter
1 lb. box powdered sugar
2 cups crunchy peanut butter
3 cups rice crispies
Mix with hands until well blended!! Chill. Pack into 1" balls.
Roll in powdered sugar and chill until ready to serve as a Dipper for A Chocolate Fountain OR
Dip in Chocolate, Chill, and Serve as a cookie.

Oh BABY ...

It has been awhile since I posted on my Blog. My how time flys! We were able to go to Idaho Falls this last weekend. We, Mom, Sarah, and I all hosted a Baby Shower for Ashley. She is having twin boys, Taylor and Braxton, that are due in June. (It seems a little early for a shower, but due to having 2 babies she is not allowed to travel after the 15th of March and will be scheduled for a c-section towards the end of May.) We spent a lot of time preparing for the shower, but it was worth it and the food was delicious. After the shower, Taylee decided she wanted to play like she was pregnant too. She spent most of the day with a balloon up her dress pretending she was having twins. Before we left for the weekend I realized that Kamdon was getting his four top teeth so he was miserable and also caught a cold which made for some long nights for me! We sent Tydon to the cabin with Grandpa for the weekend. He was in heaven!! Today he told me that when he grows up he is going to live at the cabin, but he added he would need to have "car lessons" first. That kid is always saying the darnest things. Anyways, we had a great weekend and really enjoyed spending time as the "Merrill Girls!"
