A few months ago Heath came home and told me that we would be going to Las Vegas for a Conference. I quickly decided that I wanted to go with him. We recruited some willing Grandma's to watch our kids. (THANKS!!) I couldn't believe that we were actually going on a get-a-way. We had a fabulous time together and enjoyed 5 days in sunny Vegas. The flight was good and when we arrived, we were upgraded to a SUITE since there were no other available rooms. We were so excited and couldn't believe our room. It was GREAT!! (of course ,we had to move to a regular room after 2 nights ... it was a bit of a let down!)

A TV in the bathroom mirror??

The first day we were there, Heath had meetings all day and I was on my own. I was feeling a little lost all by myself with no children. I slept in, got ready on my own terms, watched TV, and decided to head out shopping. I decided to grab some lunch. I ordered a slice of pizza and a bottle of water. My total was $19.97. I about fainted. I thought I was ordering a slice and all this place made was a whole pizza. Where are the kids when I need them??

You can't go to Vegas and not visit the Cheese Cake Factory ...

We took a photo for another couple, so they took ours in front of this crazy statue at Caesar's Palace.

One night after Heath's meetings and my day of tearing up the strip, we decided to go into the Venetian Hotel and take a Gondola Ride. We had a great driver who sang to us as he drove us up and down the moat by all the shops. We laughed and enjoyed the ride.

This was the front of our Gondola ...

and the back of our driver ...
P.S. Where are we going next, Heath??
