Gotta Love The Pool

We are trying to soak up the last few weeks of summer every chance we get!

Peace and Quiet

School is back in Session!! I have been saying that it was going to be a good day when these two went back! It has actually been a really quiet and kind of a long day. Kamdon, Kyler, and I didn't know what to do without all of the commotion around the house!!

Taylee and Tydon both were ready and excited for school today! When Tydon got home, he said he had a great first day and that his hand was cramped from his full day of work! Kamdon, Kyler, and I weren't sure exactly what to do with each other since it was so quiet. We all ended up falling asleep. It was a well needed rest for me!!

Tydon just had a meet the teacher and get the hang of things hour yesterday. He kept telling us that he was just a little nervous for first grade. Taylee was so excited to go back to school! She loves to wear new fun clothes and SO loves this new outfit! Last night she asked if we could hurry and wash it so she could wear it again today! Silly Girl! Taylee had a great day back and loves her new teachers! (Yes, teachers -- surprise to us, she has a morning teacher and an afternoon teacher. She isn't sure why, but thinks that is so cool!)

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday To You! I decided that we had better not put more than one candle on Heath's favorite cake or it might melt it to the ground. I struck the match and lit the candle. Kamdon was excited and instantly blew it out!
Maybe the second time is a charm ... As soon as we are done singing, Tydon beat Heath to the punch and blew out the candle before Heath could make his wish and blow. Third, Time??? Heath made us sing all over again and this time he made sure that he was the first to blow out the candle. We hope your wish comes true!

What a Great Date!! Congratulations Chad and Jess! We decided to pose for family pictures while we were waiting for the bride and groom!!
After we came out of the temple, Kyler was hungry and needed fed. I gave my camera to Tydon and he photographed the Happy Wedding Party on the grounds. This is one of pretty good pictures he captured!

We had a great pool and pizza party with all of the Merrill "wedding guests". We all braved the cool water despite the fall-like Oregon weather! Thankgoodness for the hot tub!

We decided to see if we could make a Huge Tidal Wave!

A Week Of Fun In The Sun

We love Having Fun In The Sun!! This week we have spent a number of days or evenings at the new pool in our subdivision!! The kids are in Heaven and to tell you the truth, I am too! They love the water and I love the feeling of sitting by the pool or dipping my feet as I enjoy watching my children actually play together without fighting. It is the perfect pool. It has a little section where Kamdon can play to his little hearts content and a middle section for Taylee and Tydon to enjoy for hours. Then there is a 5 foot section where the kids love to play with daddy when he is able to come to the pool with us. Kyler is a great sport and seems to enjoy the shade that we tote along for him. What a great week of entertainment for The Holverson Family!

P.S. We are off to Portland for Chad and Jessica's wedding!! Congratulations, guys, we are so excited for all the fun things that your wedding will bring this week and next. Happy Wedding!
