As Luck Would Have It ...

I really feel like for the most part, I try to look at our life with the glass half full instead of half empty. But, This week I am beginning to feel like our cup is Just Plain EMPTY!! As Luck would have it, we are moving! Not because we want to move, but because we found a nice notice posted on our front door Friday morning telling us that our home that we have been renting is in foreclosure and being auctioned on May 20th. It all started last summer when we kind of clued in that the owner of our rental might be a little shady when we found out she had not been paying her HOA dues when the subdivision would not let me into the pool. Our property management company assured us that she had taken care of this! Then last month we were served papers telling us that our rent would be garnished to pay for the HOA fees that still had not been paid. After we got these papers, I said, " I wonder what else she isn't paying. I bet she isn't paying her mortgage either." It turned out I was right and we have about 2 weeks to vacate this property. Oh, What luck we have!!

So Incredibly "WICKED"

Chad and Jess
Dad and Mom

Taylee - Miss Popular

Tydon

Heath and Emily

This show is so incredibly "POP - U - LAR" with our family!!!! We were so lucky to go to a Salt Lake Performance of WICKED this weekend with my family! This was my second time seeing the show and I am still amazed at how much I was able to catch the second time around. Taylee and Tydon both enjoyed the show. Taylee loved the good witch, the "Popular" scene, and she thought it was so hilarious to see the green baby. Tydon loved all the special effects and thought it was pretty cool when Elphaba flew! I loved the music and story line that changes my whole feeling on the Wizard of Oz Movie. Heath liked the secret ending (I won't say any more for those who haven't had the chance to see it yet!) We left Kamdon and Kyler (this was the first time we have left Kyler)with some family! Thank goodness for great family to help with our sad boys for 4 hours! Thanks for an amazing weekend, dad and mom!

Motocross 2009

Oh, What a Great Night! Chad Reed is Kamdon and Tydon's favorite rider. Here is a shot of him jumping. Below is a shot of the the kids standing by his replica bike that we saw in the pits!

Kyler rested and woke up for the end of last race!

Chad and Jess

Go, James Stewart!

It rained just before the races started, and then cleared and was just cool for the rest of the evening!!

Kyler Slept through most of the night!

After the kids soccer game we got ready and headed to the U of U for the 2009 Motocross. It was a rainy and cold day so we had to add layers, poncho's, and take lots of blankets! Despite the weather, it was an event that we couldn't have missed!! WE HAD AN AWESOME TIME and kids are still talking about James Stewart and Chad Reed! Thanks Mom and Dad for including us, we had such a great time!!

First Soccer Game of the Season

Taylee and Tydon had their first soccer game of the 2009 spring season! We are excited that both of the kids get to play on the same team and that Heath is their Assistant Coach. GO YELLOW DRAGONS!! We were excited to have Grandma Sandy and Pa Pa with us for the first game on a cold spring day! (The kids play every Saturday at 11 a.m for the next six weeks if anyone is interested in joining us for a game!)

Taylee's Piano Recital

Our little miss Taylee had a great recital last Tuesday evening. She did a wonderful job!! I worked hard to finish her pettiskirt that wasn't finished from Christmas and when she put it on, (just before the recital) we realized it was a little too see through. (we ended up getting some leggings and a little slip that solved the problem.) She threw on her Easter dress and looked just as cute! Grandma Sandy asked her to pose just for a second so we could get a photo. Taylee was so funny and made a funny face and rolled her eyes, making the audience giggle with delight. Oh what a Girl!

Aloha

Our ward had a great Ward Activity. This is our family wishing we were really in Hawaii! (Picture to come soon!)

Easter Morning Egg Hunt and Baskets

The Easter Bunny hid all 101 Easter eggs that the kids colored! Luckily each egg was accounted for!!

The Easter Bunny filled the kids Easter Bags full of all sorts of water and pool toys and supplies. I think the Bunny knows how much we love the swimming pools in our subdivision!

Now all we need is some SUN and HEAT!!

Coloring Eggs

Grandma had boiled over 100 eggs for the Grandkids to color! Let me tell you ... that may seem like a lot of eggs, but the kids flew through them in 20 minutes flat! They loved every minute of it!
