HAPPY BIRTHDAY (May 30, 2007)

Welcome to the world Taylor and Braxton!!

We so excited for you Ashley and Justin!! Congratulations! We are thrilled that the boys have arrived safely and that you are all doing well!

Memorial Day Weekend

This was Heath's first Memorial Day Weekend in YEARS that he has not had to work. It was so nice to all be at the cabin together to enjoy the weekend.

We took an outing to feed the huge fish at Big Springs. My kids have a special "treat" that they take to feed the fish. They are always the only people getting the fish to eat. They love that. (I'd share the secret, but I get in trouble when I disclose this guarded information!)

We visited West Yellowstone for a visit to the candy store, to find some cute tee - shirts for the kids, and to visit the Christmas store. We wanted to visit Old Faithful, but we decided we weren't up for the long drive (we couldn't get Grandpa to go with us).

A Year Gone By

Taylee had her last day of Kindergarten today!! I can hardly believe that she is already finished!! It seems like just yesterday that I left her crying in her new class and crying when I made her climb the tall steps aboard the big yellow bus a week later. She grew and matured so much throughout the weeks as she learned to LOVE her new adventures of elementary school and was even so brave as she endured a new kindergarten class, that she also loved, with our move! WHAT A GIRL! We love you!

Lions, Tigers, and Bears, OH MY ...

Yesterday morning we visited the Idaho Falls Zoo for Taylee's Kindergarten Field Trip. The kids had a great time watching the animals. One of our favorite things to see were the penguins. The kids were so excited to see everything and to go play at the playground that we didn't spend much time looking at any one animal.

Happy Mother's Day

Mom, Thank You so much for all you do for our family!! You are such a great mom, friend, and grandma!! We Love and Appreciate all that you Do!! Hope you had a Wonderful Day!
Look, Mike Merrill Actually cooked us Dessert!! (AND IT WAS DELICIOUS!)

And He's Off ...

Look at my Future Missionary in the Making!!
On Wednesday, we had the awesome opportunity of going to Provo to take Justin to the MTC! What a great chance this was for my kids to see and feel of the spirit! After we said our goodbye's, Taylee leaned over and told my mom that she feels so PROUD. What a great opportunity this was for Taylee to feel the spirit of the Lord and of missionary work!

Kamdon's Big Week

Kamdon has had a week of firsts! To start the week off he had his very first taste of gardening! He loved his first taste of rocks and of course he had to try the dirt. Yummy!! He was in Baby Heaven! Later in the week Kamdon Finally actually crawled! He has been toying with the idea for weeks, but on Thursday he finally figured it out! He is slowly testing the water with his new way of movement, but still knows that if he cries and whines a bit someone will save him (this is much quicker and he knows it)! He loves to pull himself up to the chairs and is slowly making his way around them. At nap time today, I laid him in his crib and before I knew it he had sat himself up, moved to the side, pulled himself up onto his feet and was giggling at me. He had pulled himself up and could see over the edge and was so proud of himself. I can hardly believe how fast they grow up!

Taylee's New Ride

The one real concern that we had with moving, was Taylee having to change schools (especially with just a few weeks left)! Taylee loved her kindergarten class and was such a popular little thing. When we discussed moving, she was concerned about leaving all of her friends. Last Wednesday was her first day of school at her new school! By the time her first day was over she had successfully made a few new friends and even remembered some of their names. She is adjusting so well and has made the best of a new school, a new class, new friends, a new routine, a new teacher, and of course a new bus ride. What a great student, we are so proud of her!
