School Skate Night

I decided to take the kids over to skate night at the school last week! Well, the Bubble Machine and pit was more exciting than the actual skating! I even decided to be the "mean mom" and didn't let my kids get in the pit, cause it was $2.00 a person, and they still had more fun messing around in the bubbles than skating! There is just something magical about BUBBLES that makes kids full of excitement!

Happy Birthday to EMILY

As some of you may know, I don't post too often and it has to take a special reason to do so.
So my post today is to my best friend and the best mom in the world, my wife Emily.
I love you and am so blessed to have you in my life. I hope that you have a great day and you know how much I appreciate you, you truly make me a better man.

"I love you Heaps"

The First Day

I can hardly believe that the First Day of School is here! Tydon got up this morning and acted like he'd never been on summer vacation and Taylee was feeling a little nervous and very excited! Heath walked them to school and said, "it was like they had never left for summer break!" We hope you have a good day!! Taylee's first day in 3rd grade!
Tydon's first day of 2nd grade!
As for me, Kamdon, and Kyler ... the house is very quite ... what are we going to do with ourselves?

Twice in One Week

We actually ventured to the ward and subdivision campout last night and put
up the darn tent again!!
The wind blew so hard and kept slapping the tent. By midnight, Kyler and I headed home to enjoy our bed since he would not stay asleep for much longer than a couple of minutes

At 6:00 im the morning, Heath called me to tell me they were all awake and were
ready to come home!! Oh, What a Night!

Happy Camping !!

Happy Birthday to the Man of the House

Happy 33rd Birthday to the MAN of our House! We hope you had a great day!!
A while back Heath started this crazy idea when singing Happy Birthday to someone. He just sings it however he likes. It may be high, or low, fast, of off key! He just makes the song sound crazy. I keep telling him how obnoxious it sounds and he tells me how awesome it is. We sang to him in the morning when he was opening his gifts and everyone just sang it like it should be sang, however, cake and candle singing was a different story. We begin to sing and all of our kids start singing in different voices, some high, some loud, and some fast! Heath was so proud. After he blew out his candle he replied, "that was so awesome!"

A WICKED Weekend at Lagoon

We met Heath's family at Lagoon last Friday. We spent most of the afternoon jumping from ride to ride. Friday night we slept in a tent. (I was reminded why I HATE to camp ... it was cold and Kyler did not sleep well ... but the kids had a blast and that is why we attempt adventure ... RIGHT?) Saturday we bounced back and spent the day riding all the rides. Taylee and Tydon were tall enough to ride all the big rides. I realized that I am kind of chicken in my older age! I did buck it up and got myself on Wicked and the other huge rides. Taylee and Tydon loved wicked and are still talking about it. We had a great time! We rode lots of different vehicles with Kamdon! The Boys on the train.
Kam on the planes.

The Bumper Cars!
Kamdon was in heaven riding all the kiddie rides and wished he could ride the larger rides with the other kids. On the other hand, Kyler hated the rides. I put him on some airplanes with Kamdon right when we got there and he screamed and attempted to climb out of the plane. He was doing a pretty good job of it, so I had the operater stop the ride. The next day I put him on the tiki boat with me and once again he freaked out as soon as the boat began to move. Maybe next year.

The "Ends" waiting in line!

Let's Walk

At 13 months, this little guy is finally walking pretty much everywhere he goes. He is getting pretty good at it and has a smile on his face and a giggle in his step. Ready ...
Set ...

Go!!
Kyler is such a great baby! Here are a few things I want to remember about Kyler ...
*We love his happy and easy going personality.
*He is always smiling!
*He puts everything in his mouth!
*He doesn't eat real food very well, he prefers bark, beads, paper, legos, and nursing! (we are trying to work on this ... I've weaned 3 other times, but this time it is harder)
*He LOVES shoes. He shrills every time we put them on, especially NEW shoes.
*He wants to be BIG. He follows all the kids around and gets so mad when they leave him out!
*He is following in Kamdon's lead and has a love of motorcycles. He loves to watch them on TV, makes the sounds when playing with them, and loves to sit on his toy 4-wheeler.
* He loves to swim at the pools or in the tub.
We Love our Kyler Bug!

A Hot "Working" Vacation

Heath had to go work in St. George last week, so we all tagged along. It was HOT and we spent most of our time in the pool next door to the home we stayed in. We had a great time and Heath was able to spend some well deserved time with US.

We were glad that Grandma Sandy decided to join us for the week! Thanks for all you did! We sure enjoyed your company! Grandma had a left over pinata. The kids could not stand that it was still full and ready to be hit. The first chance they got, we broke it open.

We were glad that the Hatch's drove on over for a few days! The kids loved having Dad around!

More Fun in the Sun ...

Kyler got really brave after spending the week in the pool. He was jumping from the side into the pool! He loved every minute of it!

When we were on our way to the hotel, we realized that we didn't have room to take all of our "FUN" home. Heath stopped and purchased a cargo pack that goes on your car roof. (We used to laugh at people that drove with those things ... now it's us!)

The Last night in St. George, we stayed in a hotel. We swam some more and enjoyed the evening together! Kyler was determined to ride the luggage cart down. He screamed until we put him up. He was pleased as punch and rode all the way to the car.
