More Fun in Idaho Falls

Check out the Hair and Outfit on this girl. Jess called a few weeks ago and asked Taylee if she would be her hair model for a Hair Styling Show that she was entering for school. Of course Taylee was thrilled and could hardly wait. She enjoyed shopping and spending the day with Jess. When Jess was done, Taylee felt like a princess. Taylee did a great showing off the hair and Jess did a great job styling.

Taylee strutting her stuff down the runway to show off her hair do!

AND THE 1ST PLACE WINNER IS .... JESS and her model TAYLEE.

Taylee and Jess walking the runway to pick up their winnings! Taylee was so excited that she won, that she jumped up on the stage and had the trophy in her hand before Jess could even reach the top of the stage. She let Jess grab the gold metal and her gift card. For the rest of the night Taylee would not let anybody hardly look at the trophy. She was so excited and just knew that the trophy was hers. Jess was a great sport and let her take the trophy home. Someday we will make sure that Jess gets her trophy back!

Jess and Taylee after they had won 1st place in the competition! Great Job, Jess! You should be proud of the great job you did!! Thanks for letting Taylee be your model and treating her like a princess for the day! She is in love with the (your) trophy, her dress, her butterfly clips,
and of course her shoes!
One (there has only been a few) nice afternoon, we stopped by the river to feed the ducks. It felt great to get out and enjoy the weather.
Grandma and Pa Pa bought Kamdon his very own little trampoline. He is in Heaven!! He loves that he can Jump whenever he wants. Thanks "MA MA" and "PA PA" The toothfairy has visited us 3 times this week - she is fresh out of cash! Taylee lost a tooth on Sunday, Tydon lost his very first tooth on Monday, and his second tooth today!

We are having a great time

Since the kids are off track, it has been great to get away from our little rental home and be at Grandma and Grandpa's house for the week. We have played and played. We miss you Heath and wish you were here, but someone has to make the bucks.

What A Big Boy

On Saturday we went to Costco and purchased a new twin bed for Kamdon! Kamdon thinks his bed is great! Of course, we are have a little bit of a struggle keeping him in it. The first thing he taught himself is how to climb out of bed. Hopefully within a few weeks, he will be a pro at sleeping in a Big Boy Bed, but with our luck it will take years!

What Have We Been Up Too???

Tydon's school class was talking about different Community Helpers this week. Tydon's teacher actually asked Heath to come and talk with their class. He was so excited and a little worried about what to say. His job is not the easiest to talk about especially to kindergartner's. He ended up doing a great job. I found a little book for him to read to the kids and he brought his car for the kids to see. THE KIDS LOVED THAT!! They climbed in and some of them laid down. It was so funny, the car was a hit.

I have been working hard to finish up with a couple of "projects" for Scrapworks. We submitted 2 sets of different projects to Paper Craft magazine and I am so excited to announce that they choose mine to use. My designs will be in two upcoming issues. Yeah, for me! I did a project and changed it 2 more times to make it a 3 way project. And then I did a Batty Invitation for their Halloween Issue. They will be featuring the new acrylic albums and vinyl appliques from Scrapworks. I am so excited to see how the magazine spread turns out with my designs.

Heath had a great week on VACATION. He was able to sneak away from work and from our sick kids and head to Moab with Chad and My Dad. They had a great couple of days riding the trails in Moab and then headed to Kanesville for a couple days on the trails there. It sounded like they had a great male bonding trip ... BOYS WILL BE BOYS. (I must note that they took one of my favorite old chairs (the ones I turn into cute flower planters) and used it for an outhouse, since it already had the center cut out of it ... what the heck were they thinking)

Tydon Turned the Big Six on March 25th. He had a great Birthday! He had a party with his friends from school. We took them to see Horton Hears a Who. We went out for RIBS for dinner and came home to enjoy cake and ice cream. Tydon had a great day! Thanks everyone for the great gifts!

What a busy couple of weeks. We enjoyed having our family visit! Since having a few days with nothing to do ... I have been bored out of my mind. I have visited Target twice in 2 days just for something to do. I can't wait to come to Idaho Falls in a couple of weeks when my kids go off track!

Happy Easter

Things just never quite turn out like you plan. All of the sudden on Friday night, Taylee got a fever of 102*. She was so miserable and so upset. So after a couple of hours, I took her to the kids care. They could not find any signs of infection, and just assume she has a virus. (Probably the same one that Taylor got while here in Utah, cause now she is throwing up too.) So yesterday, we had her stay home and rest all day hoping that she would be back to herself by today. So since Easter was tomorrow and we have such early church, I came up with a great plan. The Easter Bunny left the kids a note telling them that since we had such early church, he would come while we were gone. Well, since none of the kids ended up at church today, that plan was shot. So I created a new plan. I told the kids that I would call the bunny on his "bunny phone" when daddy and I got home from church. (My kids are getting to old, they asked how I would get his number .... ahhhh, "I'll look it up on the internet. Whew, I got out of that, for now.) Then right during our primary class, just when I need help, Heath gets a call and has to leave to go to work and didn't get home until like 3 this afternoon. Finally, when he got home we called the "bunny phone" and sent Tydon out on walk with Grandpa Holverson. (Taylee and Kamdon were both still napping) and the Bunny was able to visit our house. It isn't going to be long before the bunny "story" has to be told to Taylee and Tydon. Tydon came home from his walk and said, "you guys just hid the eggs didn't you." I was able to fake my way out one more time. I guess next year, I will have to be a more clever Bunny. To top off our evening, we were just ready to eat Easter dinner, and Heath's phone rang again and off to work he goes. To myself I think, it doesn't even fill like Easter and things just have not gone as planned. As for the infamous matching "Easter Outfits" that I stressed about, we will be wearing them to church next week -- knock on wood -- NO MORE SICK KIDS!
Last Night we dyed our Easter Eggs. Taylee felt pretty good, she she was able to join in. Kamdon fell asleep before we started, so we decided to take his picture with an egg that had his name on it.

The kids found all the eggs that the bunny had hidden. Taylee found a few eggs and then laid back down to rest.

The Easter Bunny left Kamdon a new slide. He is so funny on it. He just giggles and talks gibberish a million miles a minute as he goes up and down the slide. It is so funny!

The Easter Bunny hid all the Easter Baskets (that is a GREAT Easter tradition that we all LOVE) and left us all some great presents.

The "Easter Bunny" surprised me with the cutest new Shoes that I had been looking at. I was so excited and no idea that "he" was even paying attention to me. What a great Honey Bunny! We hope you all have a great Easter. We miss all of you!!
